ENROLLMENT AND ACCOUNT ACTIVATION

Is anyone eligible to participate in this program?
Please refer to the Official Rules for program eligibility.

Why do I need to activate my account?
By enrolling and activating your account, you will be eligible to start earning points based on travel packages you purchase.

 

How do I enroll and activate my account?
On the Home page, click Enroll Here (it is located in the upper right corner of the page) to complete registration in The Traveling Sportsman™ Outdoor Rewards Club. Once you submit your request for enrollment, you will receive an email requesting you to click a link that will take you to the Outdoor Rewards Club website and to change your password. Your account is then activated and will allow you to access your point bank account.


 

POINT DEPOSITS

How do I earn points in this program?
To earn points you must first enroll or be enrolled in the Outdoor Rewards Club and activated. You can then earn points in one of four ways:

  • As an existing member of Outdoor Rewards Club:
    • Book, purchase and complete a trip to one of the participating lodges listed below – and receive 5% of the trip base rate in points.
    • Refer a new guest to one of the participating lodges. You will receive a referral bonus of 5% of the guest’s trip base rate in points, once the guest has booked, purchased and completed their trip.
    • Points can be earned on behalf of your minor children when you book, purchase and complete a trip with your minor children on packaged trips at a participating lodge.
  • Points may also be earned from special promotions sponsored by Outdoor Rewards Club.
When are my points earned?
Active Members earn points after they have booked, purchased and completed travel. Your points will be deposited into your Outdoor Rewards Club account by the end of the month following your completed trip.
 

How many points can I earn for each trip?
For each trip booked at one of the participating lodges, you will earn 5% in points calculated on the base rate of your trip. Additional trip expenses, discounts and taxes will not count towards program points. (See percentage chart below.)

How much is one point worth?
One point is equivalent to $1 USD.

If I am a Member and book and purchase a trip for myself and one or more of my minor children, will I earn points for each of us?
Yes. You will earn 5% in points calculated on the base rate of the purchased trips for yourself and for each of your minor children. Be sure to inform your sales agent who within your group is your minor children.

If I redeemed points towards a discount on my trip, what amount am I eligible to earn points on?
You will earn points based on the balance of your base trip cost. Example: The base rate of your trip is $2,800. You redeem 500 points towards this trip. You will earn points based on the $2,300 balance.

 

How do points get deposited into my account?
After travel is completed, within thirty days of the following month your points will be deposited into your Outdoor Rewards Club account for you.

 
POINT REDEMPTION
 

How do I know if I have enough points to redeem?
You will need to check your point balance at www.outdoorrewardsclub.com. From the home page, click "Customer Login" or "Account Login" and enter your login and password. You will then be able to access your account point balance, and view deposit and redemption activity.

 
How do I redeem my points towards a discount on my travel package?
At the time of booking your trip, let your sales agent know that you would like to redeem the points in your account.
 
Can I redeem any number of points?
The minimum number of points you can redeem is 500. Points must be redeemed in 500 point increments up to a maximum or 50% of your base trip cost.
 

At the time of booking, I forgot to mention that I want to redeem points. Is it too late?
You can redeem your points up until the time of final invoicing. Please contact your sales agent immediately.

 
Can I add my points with another member’s to redeem toward a trip?
No. Points are nontransferable and must be maintained separately.
 
When and how will points be deducted from my account?
Once your trip is booked, customer service will reserve the points in your account so that they cannot be used twice.
 
REFERRAL BONUS POINTS 
 

Do I get anything for referring a new guest to one of the participating lodges?
Yes. When you refer a new guest who has never booked a trip at the specific lodge being referred, you will receive a referral bonus of 5% of the trip base rate once the guest has paid for and completed the trip.

 

Can the guest I refer travel on a separate trip or with another group?
Yes.

 

Is there a limit to the number of referrals I can make?
No, as long as the guest has never booked a trip at the specific lodge being referred.

 

Is the guest I am referring eligible to receive points?
Yes. The new guest is eligible to earn 5% in points based on the trip base rate.

 

Can a corporate group or sponsor earn referral points?
No.

 

If my trip is discounted, can I get referral points?
Yes.

 

POINT EXPIRATION

 

Do points in my account expire?
No, your points will not expire as long as you are an active member. See Official Rules (Expiration of Points) regarding deactivation.

TERMINATION OF PROGRAM PARTICIPATION
 
Can I choose to terminate my Outdoor Rewards Club membership?
Please review “Termination; Points Forfeitures” in the Official Rules. If you choose to terminate your membership, please contact Outdoor Rewards Club Customer Service.
